Adansonii Display

Adansonii Display is a typeface created for a fictive plant shop “Adanson’s Plants”. Adansonii is the latin name of monstera monkey mask. The monstera family is characterized by their leaves with holes and aerial roots, but the monkey mask’s aerial roots stop growing at only a couple mm. length. The typeface’s rounded serifs are directly inspired by this, hence tieing it to Adanson’s Plants, but also providing fitting organic character.
